I am from the Byakko Island. When I was eight my father our city’s daimyo Ibubesi died in battle protecting our homeland from the Garlean Empire. My mother Leilani and I grieved my father’s death for a time, after Ankoku my father’s friend told us of his noble death. Ankoku who loved and admired my mother’s beauty since they were children. They were to wed three months after we finished grieving for Ibubesi's death. An agreement for Leilani to remarry was made so that she could keep my father’s land and title but with one condition. She agreed to the terms placed before her and Ankoku became the new daimyo. Two months later my mother and I were sailing on a boat to Kugane this would be the last two months that I would ever see her again.

Arriving in Kugane a deal was, brokered with a female named Gong Li and my former mother Leilani. Unlike most geisha, I was given the title called Hokan. Training consisted of art, history, theater performance, and school work. I met a girl named Chiyo who would tell me various stories from her area's homeland. We were best friends until she upset a client of Gong. Having embarrassed Gong and her client, Chiyo received discipline in front of all members of the white crane. Months passed I attracted the attention of Ayeka Jin who became my benefactor. Time continued to move until one day I no longer resided at the White Crane. Ayeka fell in love with me but she is married to a Oyabun. A year passed I committed a crime against a member of an underground member who was connected to someone powerful. Gong Li has full intention of disciplining me like my lost friend Chiyo. When it was time for me to receive my discipline Ayeka arrived with her husband Ryōma Jin Yakuza. Hours passed and I was told to pack my things and to wait outside. Waiting in the cold snow a familiar cart had arrived to gather me and my things. Entering the cart I would see Ayeka, but in her place was a man who introduced himself as Ryōma Jin and he explained to me what my future entails going forward.

While working and living at the Ryōma Jin Yakuza, I trained how to use swords, and other small weapons, how to use my body as a weapon to be a wither that's was to be a bodyguard, assassin, or mercenary. As Ryōma Jin's eyes widened as he wanted to expand the operations from Othard to Aldenard. One day as we sailed on a ship, I met a friend name F. We talked the entire ship cruise until we reached Limsa. In Limsa F and I would meet a few times a week until she no longer showed up. Ryōma had rival originations somehow after lots of drinks because of the leader of the Jin group. Ayeka came to my room that night and tried to coerce me into sleeping with her and when that failed, she tried to force herself upon me, but I rejected her, she said "You will pay for this, you will lose everything after today" Several days had passed Ryōma sent three of his best me to kill me, but I killed them instead. Days had passed and I was running for my life Ryōma and Ayeka had sailed back home. I ran into F again and she helped me find my way home. Upon returning I challenged Ryōma for something I yearned for since my father died. At the end of the battle, I walked out of the compound as a Ronin and a free man.

Work

Even though he is a trained bodyguard he prefers mercenary work. Lastly is willing to eliminate competition however he does have one important rule that must be adhered to at all times before taking and doing the job. Kenta speaks Higan and an unknown language from his father's homeland.

Physical Fitness

When he is not at work he enjoys surfing at one of the various beaches in Shiro, or in the Mist. Kenta is a classical trained martial artist, he has competed and still competes in the highest level of striking, grappling, and swordfight (kendo or fencing). On average, he runs 3-5 miles a day or up to 10 when getting ready for an important mission.

Food

Enjoy eating various types of food minus two types of food. He is not one to turn down a stout or a fine whisky preferably a Hingan-style whisky. Food and the love of it is one of his love languages. He is very critical of how food is prepared and tastes. He has a few tells that will let you know if the food is to his liking. Ramen, Fried Chicken, and cheesecake are the foods he enjoys the most.

He has a large back tattoo and two full-sleeve tattoos that were done in the traditional Higan style of tebori. He enjoys working, and running day-to-day operations at the Shinkirou Cinema Café. He enjoyed being in various plays while he lived and worked for the White Crane House and the Ryōma Jin Yakuza. Some suspect that the Shinkirou Cinema Café is a meeting ground for various underground originations, and is a front for his mercenary business. Easy to talk with once he gets to know you, and protective of any person who he calls a friend. He has a small set of friends that he calls family that are throughout Eorzea.
